Six Months of Magic

It’s hard to believe it’s already been six months since I officially joined the incredible team at Magic Bound Travel as a travel advisor. What started as a casual meet-up at the Rise and Run Podcast event during Disneyland’s Halloween Half Marathon 2024 weekend quickly turned into something so much more — a new adventure, a new career path, and a connection to an amazing community of passionate travel professionals.

My Journey as a Travel Advisor with Magic Bound Travel

From the very beginning, the owners and fellow advisors welcomed me like family. Within months, I was diving headfirst into training and certifications for the places and experiences I’ve always been passionate about — Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney, Aulani a Disney Resort and Spa, Universal Studios Orlando, Universal Hollywood, Royal Caribbean, Sandals & Beaches, Virgin Voyages, Marriott Bonvoy, and National Geographic Expeditions. Each certification gave me new insight and a deeper appreciation for the heart and care that go into every vacation.

But it hasn’t just been about online modules and study guides. These six months have been filled with unforgettable experiences that remind me exactly why I love this work. I’ve sailed on Royal Caribbean’s Utopia of the Seas to Nassau and Perfect Day at CocoCay with my new Magic Bound family, toured the two newest Universal Orlando hotels — Stella Nova and Terra Luna Resorts, stepped aboard the Disney Wish for an insider tour, cruised on Virgin Voyages’ Valiant Lady to Cozumel and Bimini Beach Club, and even got a first look at Universal’s Epic Universe before its grand opening.

And in between the travel and the trainings, I’ve learned so much more — about what it means to serve clients, to listen, to guide, and to help families, friends, and couples create memories that last a lifetime.

This milestone isn’t just a reflection of the places I’ve been; it’s a celebration of the people I’ve met, the trust my clients have placed in me, and the incredible support I’ve felt from friends and family and the Magic Bound Travel team.

I’m filled with gratitude for the friendships, opportunities, and adventures that have come with this role — and I can’t wait to see where the next six months (and beyond) will take me. Every experience has been a reminder of why I love this work — and how much joy travel brings to people’s lives.
