Disney – Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival

Epcot has some of the most beautiful, flavorful and inspiring festivals in the world – pun intended! We’ve already shared how much we love the Festival of the Arts at Epcot, but another festival we try not to miss is the International Flower and Garden Festival.By far one of my favorite events to walk the entire park taking photos while eating and drinking around the World Showcase! Check out my photos from the 2023 event!

Florida Travel – Kennedy Space Center Visit 2021

Before I Disney you all to death – I’m catching up on so many things that I never took the time to write about and share over the last few years… I thought I would dig back into the archives of my iPhone and see what other treasures I could find and share.  I’ll do my best to mix it up for you weirdos that aren’t Disney obsessed like us!

It led me all the way back to September of 2021 when Mark and I spent the day over on the Space Coast exploring the Kennedy Space Center -NASA for the very first time.

Disney- Birthday Spectacular 2023 – Coronado Springs Resort – Sangria University

My annual Birthday tradition of a trip to Walt Disney World is still going strong, and our 7th year in a row was epic! This was our very first time staying at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort and it won’t be our last because we are in love!

Disney – Epcot International Festival of Arts 2022

Sometimes people ask us- “why do you love Disney so much, isn’t it just for kids?” You definitely don’t need children to enjoy the wonders of Walt Disney World- especially with festivals, food, and drinks like this!! Adulting at Disney is our favorite kind of adulting- and one of our most favorite times to go is during the Epcot International Festival of Arts! Definitely in our top favorites of the Epcot festivals!

St Pete – Favorite St Pete Beaches – Pass-a-grille Beach

One of the biggest reasons we chose to move to the St Petersburg, FL area seven years ago was the beaches – duh!! We originally fell in love with the Treasure Island and Madeira Beach areas but there’s a true gem just south of there and past the pink castle in the sand (The Don Cesar Hotel) called Pass-a-grille.

Disney – Guardians of the Galaxy: AP Preview Weekend

In May of 2022, after being Annual Passholders for over 5 years, we finally scored our first ever passholder preview for a brand-new ride!!! Guardians of the Galaxy- Cosmic Rewind at Walt Disney World’s Epcot! It was incredible and definitely now my favorite ride at Disney! It’s now officially open to the public and absolutely worth the Lightning Lane!

Disney – Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Golden Statues

Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary is an 18-month celebration—which kicked off October 1, 2021, and features Golden character statues in each of the four Disney parks. It was so fun and satisfying to find and take photos of each of them over a couple of visits during the celebration! Yay for being annual pass holders and for park hopping!

Disney – RunDisney Marathon 2022

I can’t let another day pass by without finally sharing (and bragging) about Mark’s first full marathon and our first ever Disney Marathon weekend – he did incredible and it was fantastic!

Florida Travel – Christmas in the Keys 2020

Here’s another #FlashbackFriday for you! Last year we had an amazing trip to the Florida Keys for Christmas 2020 and enjoyed unplugging for a few days. Like everyone in the world, the year 2020 proved to be an extremely tiring year with too many changes and hurdles to count. That’s why we, along with our favorite travel buddies, decided to escape for a long weekend to celebrate Christmas in the Florida Keys.  While this year has also proved to be equally difficult if not more so… I thought it was time for some reminiscing…
