Exciting News – I’m Now a Travel Advisor with Magic Bound Travel! I am so excited to finally announce this new career adventure!
I absolutely love to travel, and as an independent Travel Advisor with Magic Bound Travel, I can help YOU turn your travel dreams into reality.
My love for travel and desire to see the world grew exponentially after my very first International trip to India. I was bitten hard by the travel bug and haven’t looked back since! Over the last few years, I’ve had the pleasure of traveling to India, Belize, South Africa, and Japan, and I have many more places on my dream travel list. I also love to explore the magical destinations we have right here in the US, especially Disney and Universal.
How did this come to be?
Like most of you who have been following along for a while know, I have been doing some soul-searching over the last year about what path to follow next in my life. Where to find my joy and passion again. It’s been a long, personal process, and it’s time only to look forward.
When Magic Bound Travel reached out to me, the thought of helping others plan and experience their dream travel destinations was the first time in a long time that I had a TRUE spark of excitement toward a new direction.
I am often asked why I don’t continue working with animals, and the most honest and truthful answer I can muster is the reality of the sadness, distrust, and crushing compassion fatigue that came from my last job. It was soul-crushing in a way that is hard to describe, and Mark and I are ready to heal and move forward in a completely new direction.
We spent the last year and a half focused on healthy goals, traveling to dream places like Japan and California, and countless visits to our happy place – Disney! I focused my energy and skills of photography, content creation, and story-telling by blogging and sharing about our adventures to inspire others to get out and explore places that make them happy.
I just so happened to catch the eye of Magic Bound Travel through the Rise and Run Podcast group right around my 40th Birthday in August, and the idea of being a Travel Planner to help others see the world was the first spark of excitement I felt in years.
When we were in California for the Halloween Half Marathon, I remember feeling like my life was about to change and head in a new direction, and that is when we met Brad and Maggie, the owners of Magic Bound Travel, in person at the Rise and Run Meet Up. Things just started to click into place, and after a few conversations, the interview process, and some hypothetical scenarios – the rest is history! I have completed my training and certifications and am ready to hit the ground running with your help!
All things Disney
My passion for Disney is unwavering. I was born and raised in Ohio, and our family’s only visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth occurred after my mom won $1,000 from a country radio contest in 1991 when I was seven years old (So Midwest!)—it’s one of my most vivid memories. Unfortunately, I didn’t return to Disney until I was 20, and I had been dreaming about living closer ever since.
So, in 2015, my husband and I packed up our lives and moved to Tampa for two reasons—sunshine and Disney. Mark and I became Disney Annual Pass holders in 2016 and now frequent the parks and resorts. We love being Disney adults, finding all of the best food and drinks around the world, and participating in many of the RunDisney races to work off all the sweet treats and incredible Disney food we love.
We attend all of the Epcot Festivals and many of the special events, and I often drive over for the day to walk around the parks and resorts for exercise and to take photos and videos as a creative outlet. Over the last year, I have been blogging and creating content for our adventures to share and inspire others to bring more magic and travel into their lives.
Disney Travel Expierence
My personal goal is to visit all Disney parks worldwide! We recently visited Disneyland California and Tokyo Disneyland. Only three left- Paris, Shanghai and Hong Kong!
In addition to running many RunDisney races and checking off the parks around the world, I aim to stay in all of the Disney resorts, experience the Disney Cruise Lines, and eat (drink) at all the WDW restaurants. What’s life without some BIG goals, right? Disney is our happy place, and I would love to help others fall in love with it, too.

Why use a travel agent?
Planning a trip can be hard work, but travel agents can save you time and stress. I can save you time by researching destinations, deals, hotels, and sightseeing tours. Travel agents can help if something goes wrong during your trip, and create customized itineraries with the best options for your budget. As a team member with Magic Bound Travel, I am backed by knowledgeable and experienced travel professionals, and we can offer advice on everything from travel hacks to the best restaurants and experiences. I have access to insider knowledge that the average person doesn’t, and can use others travel experience and feedback from previous clients to help you.
Did you know you already pay for a Travel Advisor even if you don’t use one? That’s right – if you book directly with most travel suppliers, you usually pay the same commission rate to the big business instead of the commission going toward a small business like mine.
If it’s Free, how do I make money?
My commission rates are paid for by the Travel Suppliers!
For example, If you book directly with Disney or Universal, the commission is still built into the price and goes straight to Disney or Universal. If I book you the same stay at the exact same cost, I get the commission, which will cost you nothing extra and you get the full value of your money by having an independent travel professional as your your point of contact.
