Our first ever Magic moment or “pixie dust” was back in December of 2021 when we decided to book a night in Disney and have a little escape before the holiday. Mark booked one night at Art of Animation and we just chose the cheapest option available. When we arrived to check in they had upgraded us to a Lion King Family Suite at no charge! It’s like they definitely knew their clientele, right?!?
Before I Disney you all to death – I’m catching up on so many things that I never took the time to write about and share over the last few years… I thought I would dig back into the archives of my iPhone and see what other treasures I could find and share. I’ll do my best to mix it up for you weirdos that aren’t Disney obsessed like us!
It led me all the way back to September of 2021 when Mark and I spent the day over on the Space Coast exploring the Kennedy Space Center -NASA for the very first time.
Alright folks – we have made it to the end of our Africa Adventure 2022 journey and this is my final post from our trip! If you need a recap or have missed any of these posts – we have a full itinerary with links to each post here!
We packed up early and moved out of our Lower Sabie Rest Camp tents and headed back to where we started – Skukuza Rest Camp – only this time we will go BIG before we go home!
We’d traveled from Florida to Germany to Cape Town and now finally – we were heading into Kruger National Park for the rest of this epic adventure!
What an unbelievable, indescribable, inspirational, and educational weekend at Walt Disney World Princess Weekend 2023 for the Run Disney Fairytale Challenge! In case you have forgotten, or never read why I signed up for this craziness – take a few minutes to read my post after we registered in July of 2022. I’ll wait for you to catch up 😉
One of the excursions that we had pre-booked for Day 4 in South Africa was a Whale Tour with Southern Right Charters in Hermanus. However, sadly the weather caused the company to cancel the boat trip out of safety and once we saw the waves we felt very thankful.
Our adventure continues… After an 11-hour 45 min overnight flight from Germany, we happily arrived in Cape Town, South Africa!!
In late August – early September, 2022 we embarked on an incredible two week adventure with 4 of our friends to South Africa. The sole purpose and intention for this incredible experience was to see animals in the wild where they belong. Not in a zoo, not in cages, not in people’s backyards etc… We’veContinue reading “World Travel – Africa Adventure 2022 – 14 days in South Africa”
Africa 2022- An absolute trip of a lifetime, so much so it’s taken me several months after coming home to even comprehend what a life changing journey it was for us. This trip was in the making for several years and was originally planned for 2020 by our friend Jamie who had previously taken thisContinue reading “World Travel – Africa Adventure 2022 – Day One – Germany”
Flashback Friday! Our first trip to Belize was in 2019 and that is when Mark and I officially fell in love with everything about it. We had wanted to return sooner but when the entire world shut down in 2020 we just continued isolating and dreaming and held out hope that we would return again soon. I really wanted to plan a very special 40th Birthday celebration for my husband Mark in Nov 2021 and we had been brainstorming ideas with friends for local and far away destinations. Belize really checked all the boxes for a fantastically fun adventure that isn’t expensive and isn’t that far away. None of us had traveled internationally since before the Pandemic so we thought this would be a good jumping-off point!
