Coppertail Brewing Co. opened its doors in 2014, founded by Kent Bailey and Casey Hughes. Their mission was simple: to create high-quality, flavorful beer right here in Tampa Bay, while embracing the spirit of craft brewing.
The name “Coppertail” comes from a whimsical sea monster imagined by Kent’s young daughter—an underwater creature with a shimmering copper-colored tail that lurks just off Florida’s coast.
