Three Birds Tavern in St Pete is a must-try on Fourth Street! It’s been a minute since we added to our favorite local Brunch Spots in St Pete on the blog, so today, I’d love to introduce one of our oldest original favorite spots – Three Birds Tavern!
When Mark and I moved to St Pete in 2015, this establishment was very close to our first home, and we became obsessed and came here at least once a week. Three Birds is a bit further from us now, but we still love to make the trip over, especially for Brunch. They have a great atmosphere and a menu of excellent, creative comfort food!

Three Birds Tavern is located at 1492 4th Street North, St. Petersburg, in a century-old farmhouse near The Sunken Gardens on 4th Street in a booming area of St Pete surrounded by gorgeous oak trees.
This place is spacious, with a large veranda surrounding the Farmhouse, multiple patios, an inside and outside bar, and some limited indoor seating. They have plenty of umbrellas, shade trees, porch awnings, and fans, and they give plenty of shade from the afternoon sun or rain, and it’s even bearable in the hot Florida Summer.
Three Birds Tavern in St. Pete offers Brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 11 AM – 2 PM and a special menu with $5 drink specials, making it a perfect place to spend a weekend afternoon.
My go-to is always the BLT&E, and Mark loves the Chicken & Waffles – but honestly, you can go right with the entire menu. We have always had excellent service and love that they are SUPER DOG FRIENDLY! They will even bring dog treats to the table to make friends with the dogs around you, and they always give each table with dogs their water dish. Brunch + Dogs = heaven! We highly recommend checking it out next time you are in the area!
