In late August – early September 2022, we embarked on an incredible two-week adventure with 4 of our friends to South Africa. The sole purpose and intention for this great 14-day experience was to see animals in the wild where they belong. Not in a zoo, cages, people’s backyards, etc., we’ve seen way too much of that living in America. Here is a look at our South Africa Trip Itinerary with photos and information about our adventure of a lifetime.

This trip was planned by a person who had visited South Africa quite a few times over the years, and she curated a journey that allowed us to experience a little bit of everything. This gave us enough time to fall head over heels in love and count the days until we could return. It was an absolute trip of a lifetime, so much so that it’s taken me months after coming home to comprehend what a life-changing journey it was for us.
