In late August – early September, 2022 we embarked on an incredible two week adventure with 4 of our friends to South Africa. The sole purpose and intention for this incredible experience was to see animals in the wild where they belong. Not in a zoo, not in cages, not in people’s backyards etc… We’ve seen way too much of that living in America.
This trip was planned by a friend who has visited South Africa quite a few times over the years and she curated a trip that allowed us to experience a little bit of everything, giving us just enough of everything to fall head over heels in love and count the days till we can return. An absolute trip of a lifetime, so much so it’s taken me months after coming home to even comprehend what a life changing journey it was for us. *Disclaimer – I will update this blog as new posts come out about the trip – I will blog them day by day or safari camp by camp and link them below.
