If you want one of the most excellent atmospheres in St. Pete, FL, you must go to Trophy Fish. Mark and I crave the specialty cocktails and food from there, and it’s becoming a regular hang-out anytime we venture down Central Avenue.

Trophy Fish Photos and Story
The owners of Trophy Fish were born and raised in St. Pete and say they have saltwater in their veins, which is pretty apparent. They managed to bring an authentic Florida beach vibe to the middle of Central Ave. They love local seafood and support local fishermen with an ever-changing food menu.
This unique outdoor restaurant features umbrella and awning-covered seating around a beautiful central bar with additional seating. You order your drinks at the bar, and there’s a small beach shack-style building in the back where you order your food from. They almost always have live music going too!
What to Eat and Drink at Trophy Fish
Our favorite things to eat are the hush puppies, fish tacos or sandwiches, fish spread, and coconut rice. As far as what to drink, well, you know us, we’ve tried them all! The ones we crave repeatedly – The Salty Dawg, Blood Money, and the Pistachio Mai Tai!
Side note – they have the BEST ice ever for their cocktails, and the bartenders not only look the part but also serve a fantastic drink every single time.
