As you step into Teak, you’re immediately greeted by a chic yet inviting ambiance that seamlessly blends modern design with coastal charm. The restaurant’s sleek interior, adorned with contemporary furnishings and accents of natural wood, mirrors the serene beauty of its waterfront location.

Large windows offer panoramic views of St Petersburg, Florida and beyond, allowing diners to bask in the mesmerizing spectacle of sailboats gliding across the waters or the sun setting in a blaze of colors on the horizon.

A Symphony of Flavors

Teak’s menu celebrates culinary creativity and is almost too pretty to eat. From mouthwatering seafood specialties to innovative takes on classic comfort foods, the restaurant’s talented culinary team crafted each dish with precision and passion. The food is perfectly complemented by refreshing craft cocktails or a glass of wine from the thoughtfully curated selection. They have a full dining area and a smaller bar in the back of the restaurant if you want a more casual atmosphere.  It’s beautiful and has a ceiling I could get lost staring at.

In a city renowned for its culinary scene and natural beauty, Teak Restaurant at the St. Pete Pier stands out as a true gem that captures the essence of coastal living. Teak offers a dining experience that is as unforgettable as it is inspiring. Whether you’re a local resident or a visitor exploring the charms of St. Petersburg, a meal at Teak is an essential stop during any visit downtown.

The St Pete Pier

The St Pete Pier is BEAUTIFUL! The new St Pete Pier opened in July 2020, and became the center hub for the city.  We love going downtown and walking to the end and back while enjoying the sea air, watching street performers, and watching for dolphins.

At the End of the Pier

Once you reach the end of the pier, you will find a gorgeously modern structure that houses a gift shop, tackle and bait shop, Driftwood Cafe, Teak Restaurant, and a rooftop bar – Pier Teaki!  One of our favorites is also located nearby – Doc Fords!

The Bending Arc by Janet Echelman is always worth seeing at night, along with the picturesque city of St. Petersburg, all lit up. It always makes a perfect evening. The Pier is a must-visit destination if you are ever in the area and is ideal for entertaining friends and family visiting from out of town.  We highly recommend you book your next trip to St Pete with Booking.com!

  1. I love the St. Pete Pier. So nice to walk around, watch the boats, look for wildlife, and watch the planes take off and land at the airport. We usually end up eating at Doc Fords. Will definitely have to try the Teak restaurant now.
