Prohibition Ambiance

Suppose you wanted a cocktail in the late 1920s. In that case, you’d ask for a “giggle water,” an alcoholic beverage, and the namesake inspiration for Gigglewaters, the restaurant, bar & one-screen classic movie theater in the heart of downtown Safety Harbor. When owners Richie & Rachel Wilson moved to Florida from Brooklyn in 2015, they brought some of their favorite New York City influences together to create a unique dining and entertainment experience for their new hometown.

Unbelievable Food of Gigglewaters

We have frequented Gigglewaters more than we can count at this point, and what has hooked us is the incredible food and drink.  The menu contains comfort food and drinks we can’t rave enough about. 

Our favorites have been the delicious burgers, fried chicken, and mac and cheese.  We’ve tried many specialty cocktails and love the Giggle Water, Wooden Kimono, Prescription Lemonade, Sangria, and the Big Lebowski! See the FULL MENU!

The true hidden gem and what sets Gigglewaters apart from any other place in town is the cinema! The intimate, 32-seat movie theater features new releases, classics, and cult classics. You can watch movies while you eat, and they always have the most feel-good, holiday-appropriate film on the schedule. Another unique bonus is the signature popcorn, which you can order in four flavors! You can rent the movie theatre for private events OR invite their food trucks to your event!
