Sesh Brewing Company is an enchanting new place in the heart of our city along the hustle and bustle of Fourth Street near downtown St. Petersburg, FL. The restaurant features a wide range of seating options, including two indoor dining spaces, a lounge space, an indoor and outdoor bar area, and two large sections of covered outdoor seating. Let’s mention the decor for a second! This place is decked out with classics from the 80s and 90s, including The Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetlejuice, Casper, Ghostbusters, and more! While the decor is always a little “spooky,” they overlay it for the holidays too!

Sesh – Is it haunted?
Sesh combines the art of brewing, mixology, and a tasty menu, all within the confines of a historical building with a vibe and rumored stories of paranormal activity. Here’s the story straight from their menu:
“Welcome to the Historical Earl Gresh Wood Parade Property, now home to Sesh Brewing Company! Sections of our building date back over 100 years. With over a century of history one might imagine you can pick up a little bit of baggage. In the mid 1930’s what began as a house built at the turn of the 20th Century was turned into a premier tourist attraction known as the Earl Gresh Wood Parade.
A couple of decades later when the ever eccentric Earl retired it would be converted into a world class French restaurant known as Rollande et Pierre where they served the community fine cuisine for over 20 years before eventually going through the hands of a few more restaurant concepts, even one where you had to pay to cook your own food! With that many souls walking through the doors it was only a matter of fate that a few would stick around…
Rest assured while we sometimes may hear or feel odd things. We have on multiple occasions had paranormal investigators, The Spirits of St. Petersburg, on site and have been assured that all spirits are friendly, especially those behind the bar”.
Sesh – The Neighborhood Haunt
The atmosphere alone is intriguing enough to stop in and take a look. Grab a drink, an appetizer, or a whole meal and feel surrounded by spooky nostalgia. The unique and “scary” artwork and decor make the vibe perfect for rainy days, festive holidays, or just days you want something unique and different. It’s a great conversation starter and perfect for nights out with friends!

Sesh Brewing Company has a creative menu, seasonal spirits, and custom offerings that reflect the time of year. It was a beautiful and warm “Florida” winter day a few weeks before Christmas, so we enjoyed salads, cider, and sangria on the patio, and it was delicious! Please look closely at their website’s menu, drink, and tap list.

We thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance of this welcoming new venue and will likely make this place a regular hangout! So, if you are looking for a place to eat in St Pete – Sesh is one that you should try. For more history and info on the paranormal happenings at Sesh, follow them on social media @seshstpete.
