Disney’s Wish Cruise Ship Tour
I recently had the complete and total honor of touring my dream Disney cruise ship—the Disney Wish. You know I went on my very first cruise in January 2025 and have been bitten by the cruise bug since becoming a travel advisor. I recently went on a fam tour with Magic Bound Travel aboard the Disney Wish cruise ship, and I am absolutely in love!! It’s everything I could have ever hoped for, and I am here to tell you all about it!
Note: A FAM tour, short for “familiarization tour,” is a trip organized by a travel provider (like a hotel, tour operator, or tourism board) to allow travel agents, media, or other industry professionals to experience a destination or product firsthand, enabling them to promote it better.
I have been dreaming about the day I can sail on my dream Disney cruise ship since its maiden voyage in 2022, and my expectations were exceeded. A few Magic Bound Travel advisors joined a couple of other agencies for a full day of touring the Disney Wish and saw firsthand why this ship is so incredible. It is gorgeous and inspired by “timeless tales of wishes come true” with a “motif of enchantment “- seriously it’s stunning!

The Wish
You can buy one of my favorite Disney shirts here!

The Grand Hall
When guests first enter the ship, they are announced like royalty entering a ball into the Grand Hall—a three-story fairy tale castle-inspired atrium with architectural influences from Gothic, Baroque, and French Rococo. Upon entering you will see the iconic statue of Cinderella and a little peek of Lucifer trying to catch Jaq and Gus. Yes, I had tears in my eyes when I saw it in person!
The Disney Wish is the first ship in the fleet to have an atrium stage where princesses and princes make special appearances. Of course Cinderella and Prince Charming were there to greet every guest as they arrived – so special!
The Disney Wish can accommodate 4,000 passengers and 1,555 crew. It currently sails 3—to 4-night Bahamian cruises, stopping at Nassau and Castaway Cay from Port Canaveral, Florida.

Staterooms
We enjoyed touring three different styles of staterooms before guests began boarding. The Disney Wish features Inside Staterooms, Oceanview Staterooms, Verandah Staterooms, and Concierge Staterooms. We were lucky enough to tour a Standard Inside Stateroom, a Family Oceanview with Verandah Stateroom, and the unbelievable Princess Aurora Royal Suite – a Concierge 2-Story Royal Suite with Verandah. Talk about dreams coming true!

If you have ever considered a Disney Cruise, I highly recommend it. With the immense value you receive from high-quality character interactions, Broadway-style shows, tremendous food and drink options, and world-class amenities, a Disney Cruise is truly top-of-the-line. After seeing firsthand how incredibly themed and over the top a Disney Cruise is, I am counting the days until I can sail on one of them!
While I don’t think you can go wrong when choosing any of the Disney Cruise Line ships, The Wish is definitely a top choice for me.
The Disney Treasure, a sister ship almost identical to the Disney Wish, offers a more adventure-focused experience with “adventure” themed spaces like the Skipper Society and Haunted Mansion Parlor, Aladdin, Coco, and more. The Treasure just had its maiden voyage this year and is spectacular! And coming soon is the NEW Disney Destiny! So who wants to go cruising?!?

Wait! Free unlimited Dole Whips?!!??!!! They’d lose money on me. LOL! It looks amazing – a floating functional work of art.
Such beautiful photos of the different areas of the ship. You are a great travel advisor explaining all the offers for families . I hope to vacation on an ocean cruise with your help in this next year. 💕😎🎉
