We concluded our visit to Kyoto with a trip to Nijō Castle, enjoyed sake at Waraku-an, and later ventured to the Kyoto Disney store. The day ended with cocktails, retail therapy, and a memorable final meal at Kyoto Engine Ramen. Next up – Tokyo Disney!

On our 10th day in Japan, we explored historical sites and tried diverse foods in Kyoto. Despite the discomfort of crowded buses, we marveled at Kinkakuji, visited the charming Okazaki Shrine and enjoyed exceptional sushi at Toyo Sushi. On the eighth day of our Japan trip, we left Osaka and took a limited express train to Kyoto, known for its cultural heritage and traditional architecture. We explored the Imperial Palace and its gardens, then checked into the Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel before enjoying cocktails at The Common One Bar and a meal at Upit Burger.
